Does anyone have a list of what coming in the furure of 40k and WHFB? what will each monthly release be for the forseeable future?
i was hoping someone had a definitive list of possibilities or facts

Last I heard, Codex: Space Marines should be out next, with the focus on the Dark Angels instead of the Ultramarines for this edition.

I should have left him there. He had served his purpose. He owed me nothing - yet he gave himself to me willingly. Why? I know not. He is nothing more than a pathetic human. An inferior race. A mon-keigh. But still I broke off my wings so that I might carry him easier. I took him from that place, into the snowstorm where our tracks will not be found. He is heavy. And he is dying. And he is slowing me down. But I will save him. Why? I know not. He is still warm. I can feel his blood ebbing across me. For every beat of his heart, another, slight spill of heat. The heat blows away on the winter wind. His blood is still warm. But fading. And I have spilled scarlet myself. The snow laps greedily at our footsteps and our lifeblood, covering them without a trace as we fade away.
'She sat on the corner, gulping the soup down, uncaring of the heat of it. They had grown more watery as of late she noted, but she wasn't about to beggar food from the Imperials or the "Bearers of the Word." Tau, despite their faults at least didn't have a kill policy for her race.' |

You heard wrong. Codex: Dark Angels is rumored to be the next loyalist Marine codex, but won't be superseding Codex: Space Marines.
Hastings, one of the more reliable rumormongers, said this in August. Mind you this stuff is subject to change, but so far he's been right on September and October:

Tau are the first 40k release of next year (after the Deamons which release for both at the same time) and before Eldar.
Dark Angels are, after CSM and before Chaos Daemons (Last codex of 2012)
Should look something like... Sep CSM, Oct WoC, Nov DA, beginning Dec Hobbit, busy few months eh and next year looks likely to continue the pace.
I believe CSM will be in the WD after the starter box issue and release end sep/begin oct. then same pattern for WoC, DA & Hobbit. Does seem a lot to cram in before the end of the year but I'm reliably informed this is what's happening........of course I could be wrong.

So when will the Codex: Space Marines 6th Edition come out? Its not in there...or do we continue to use the 5th Edition Codex with the updates that came with the 6th Edition Rulebook?

I think we're saddled with the 5th ed Codex: Space Marines until some time in late 2013 probably. I don't mind really, I like that codex a lot.

Well, I suppose its not so bad - there's nothing really wrong or unbalance with it, so yeah, I think that should be fine.

Apparently not - looks like the Dark Angels are getting their own codex, while the 'vanilla marines' will just have to keep using the old codex with the updates that came with the new BRB.
