Platoon Command Squad (Captain Al'Raheem, 4 Meltaguns, Chimera)
Infantry Squad (Chimera, Grenade Launcher)
Infantry Squad (Chimera, Grenade Launcher)
Medusa (w/Baston-Breacher Shells)
Leman Russ Punisher
Rough Rider Squad (One Additional Rough Rider)
It's kinda theme-y, but I would like some stategic advise if you got it.

The Restrictions I Put On My Tallarn Lists:
- Missile Launchers are the only HW teams allowed in Infantry Squads.
- All units able to take the FW Desert Raider special rule, must take it in lists of 750 points or more.
- 1 unit of 10 Rough Riders is required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- 2 units of Mukaali Rough Riders are required for lists of 1000 points or more.
- No vehicles besides Chimera Armoured Transports and Hydra Flak Tank Batteries are allowed.
- Al'Rahem is required in lists of 1000 points or more. |

I honestly really dislike this list. It's got no firepower. MLs and snipers don't mix. Grenade launchers suck. 4 BS3 meltaguns aren't as good as 3 BS4 meltaguns. Rough riders are pathetic. You might as well just give your opponents the models at the start of the game. 1 Medusa won't do a lot. You need more than 1 of indirect barrage artillery for them to hit anything. With this "gunline" list, an ADL is pretty much mandatory.

Well... like I said... it's theme-y. I choose most of this based on looks... I try to be a strategy man when it comes to Fantasy, but I'm a hobbyist for 40k. I was just wondering little changes I could make that don't really affect the way It looks on the table, that make it a little more strategically viable.
I know grenade launchers aren't the bee's knees, but the old Tallarn models don't have flamers. I'll probably convert one up one of these days though.
The Rough Riders are a must for me. The Tallarn Rough Riders are beautiful models that I can't wait to paint um'.
Maybe I'll get an ADL... I haven't really decided yet... I probably will.

I love how you've asked for advice on how tactically viable this list will be, then dismissed it as "oh I just want it to look this way."
Why bother posting if you're just going to ignore it?
Honestly though, rough riders suck. They're a complete waste of points, especially as you're only bringing 6. A couple of stray bolter shots and they'll hit like a wet noodle.
