The go to stuff I use and hear about a lot is Tamiya clear red it looks just like blood without having to do anything.
I am also betting the stringy stuff is UHU glue.

It is a very popular glue over in Germany. You have probably used UHU stick glue when you were in grade school. Anyways, the reason I think it is UHU glue is it is very stringy if you get the right kind and it makes it look like the blood is thick. If you do look for the glue just make sure to find the tube with black writing or else it won't go out as stringy.

O excellent. So, i am guessing just warm the stuff up, apply it where i want it..then paint it with the red paint you suggested?

It isn't the stick glue actually. sorry. It comes in a tube and is just a stringy glue. I just get a bit of the glue and then mix in some of the Tamiya clear red. Then all you have to do is get some on an old brush and make it look like gore as in the pic you attached.

Yep, UHU or Aileen's Tacky Glue are a common method for bloody bits. Mix in a little bit of red pigment (either from a paint...or better still using artist's materials with a strong red color like inks).
Provides the needed goop look to be dripping from teeth or claws. You can get similar results using acrylic gel mediums and they dry harder and come in more varieties of consistencies.
Looking at the picture you linked to - the clear red would be your go to paint for the red stuff on the main of the body while the goo mixture would be used for the tendrils of gore between the claws and what not. You can see a quick article regarding the goo here:
