I just started an Imperial Guard army and was wondering is there any Alternative Astropath and Officer of the Fleet Models compared to the normal
Games workshop models, as I think they look old and not detailed enough to be in a Company Command Squad.

Realy it depends on how much conversion work you want to do, and the personal theme for your army. Any of the sci fi games can have figures that can fit the theme, but may not fit the standard themes.
Can even have a good look at war hammer fantasy for some figures or other fantasy games.
I'm putting some vampire and demon figs in my IG and grey knights army's and 3difernt elves going into my elder.
