If one person in a unit has Preferred Enemy does it give the whole unit Preferred Enemy?

I believe the rule starts with "If one or more models in a unit..."

So if a Destroyer Lord was attached to a unit, they gain Preferred enemy?

You should see the hell unlesahed when you run a destroyer lord in a unit of wraiths. Give him a warscythe and MSS and it generally means a nasty unit with good durability for a nice cost. Ive mopped up many an opponent with that combination. Just make sure the wraiths have whip coils.

I just wanted to make sure because Counter Attack starts off with If one model in the unit as well, but doesn't give the bonus to the whole unit just models with the Counter Attack special rule. Thanks a lot guys.

The wraiths also make the destroyer lord fearless now, while he makes the wraiths have preferred enemy(everything) makes for a great combination.

The rule for preferred enemy is fairly clear on how it works on BRB page 40.

Yeah I'm not much of a wraith fan. They are too big and I don't like that they can be killed off easily with str. 8 weapons.

I'm kinda with you on this, but I will say in the game I played on sunday my buddy assaulted them with a termy squad of various weapons and his emperors champion. Unfortunately we were both on cold streaks with dice rolling (his EC actually killed my d.lord and I failed to get up...on the first turn of assault...failed two 2+ armor saves back to back, he had a wound previously already), but they were assaulted and I still ended up beating the entire squad with just the wraiths, took out a tac squad (wraiths were down to three members at that point), and about to take out another tac squad if the game hadn't ended on turn 5. They performed admirably that game, but more often than not they just get obliterated anymore.
