Hello, I just recently moved to Dyer, Indiana and am looking for a gaming group in the area. I used to meet up with a gaming group in Manteno IL but thats a bit far west of me now. Anyway my youngest brother plays and lives with our parents in Beecher Illinois. So we are looking for a gaming group around us.

I know there have to be a lot of underground groups in the area with local stores going on the out, and I would not be entirely opposed to hosting a meetup, however my appartment is not the largest and I belive only have tablespace in the spare room for one or two games (shared table halves) at a time.

Also my brothers and I are also into video games, MTG, really any board game, Axis and Allies, and we aren't opposed to learning a new game. We've been trying to find a reason to get into Battlefleet Gothic for a while

Anyway I suppose a list of ideal locations would be (Crete, Steger, Beecher, Peotone) Illinois, or (Dyer, Munster, Highland, Ceder Lake, Crown Point, Schererville, or Merrillville) Indiana

Also I was thinking about starting a meetup for a 40 group, i know there are a lot for D&D players, (im not totally opposed to giving it a shot if I cant find anything else) and chicago games. PM me or post on this thread if interested in helping me get a group going or incorporating me and my brothers into your group. We play almost every army there is extensive IG, Ork, and Marnie armies, with 2k of several others.

There used to be a store across the border in Lansing. Name escapes me at the moment. From my time in the area though, the best luck was contacting Adeptus Windy City. For such a large metro area there was certainly a lack of locations when I was there. Best place for a consistant game turned out to be the Bunker.

There is a new FLGS in Michigan City. They have 3 tables set aside just for Tabletop play( 40K, Fantasy, Warmahordes etc) plus some tables for Majic and other card games.

Owner seems nice and the place is clean. Plus has a pizza place next door and a chinese place at the other end of the strip mall (I didnt like there food personaly but to each their own you know)

We have a pretty good gaming group (Front Armour 15) in Valparaiso, IN at Galactic Greg's. We get a average of 12-15 guys just about every Sunday night.
