Looking at the size and detail, I would say it is actually a 1/48 scale weapon.
Where did you snag the picture from? Generally you can find the source...or at least hints at the source there.

Actually, I'd say its a 1/35 scale PPSh-41 derivative looking at the size compaired to the figure

I can't really offer very much, but man, that gun is weird. Wooden rifle stock and grip, metal reciever, a drum mag, what reminds me of an MG42 handguard and a fixed bayonet... It's so ridiculous, it actually looks really cool.

Thanks for the help guys, I found it here originally http://www.facebook.com/warfaber I don't do facebook so I cant send a message via that, however I did send one to their shop but heard nothing back
It looks like a mesh of weapons, but I kind of like the basic style the description mentions the legs, heads and torso but nothing about the gun
I can understand why you think it could be an actual rifle, but even if it was in 1/48 or 1/35 scale they usually come up thin but that does not seem to.

I asked about it on their page for you. From the translation of the description, it never says a thing about the rifle.
Got a response: "The rife is a quite new product from MaxMini"
Sounds like it isn't online yet.
