Here's an issue that's been troubling me for some time: often, when I go to my FLGS to paint some miniatures, I would normally just bring a tackle box with my minis, paints, and brushes. While this is convenient, my problem is that my minis would end up with their paint being chipped, and I'm forced to repaint them when I get home (and frankly they often look ugly). I have a case to carry them, but dragging a case around for just a squad of 10 minis at the most seems excessive. Any thoughts?

just get a small tool box or large cigar box i would imagine, they are smller and easily brought into a store, though i think the cigar box would be much cooler.

You may use anything I post, just remember to give me credit if used somewhere else. |

Stop them from bouncing around inside your tackle box.
Wrap them in something soft. A washcloth, some foam, some kleenex.

Battlefoam make a case exactly for this purpose. One tray holds 12 regular sized 28mm models and 7 larger models. one holds clippers, pin vice, glue, knife and some smaller holds for other things, and a pluck foam tray for either more models or pots. It's also very small, so you're not lugging a huge, heavy case around.

I use a Ferrero Rocher box with cotton balls, certainly not the ideal, but it did the trick until I got my extra troops.
