Quick question. I was looking in the rule book and noticed something i never did before. "gunslinger: all models with two pistols can fire both in the shooting phase. This follows the normal rules for shooting."

Now does that mean any model who is given dual pistols can do this or is it referencing to specific models given the specific ability/option of dual wielding pistols?

Sorry if this is a dumb question

Edit:: forgot to mention someone told me it didn't apply to my raptors but it says 'all models' so wasn't sure if I missed something or not. As to why I'm asking here.

Any model who can have two pistols can use them both, in most armies those are just the sergeants and higher, AFAIK seraphim are the only "mooks" with such gear, altho i think some models can switch their pistol/CCW for a plasma pistol so if they swap the CCW they have the plasma and their normal pistol being able to shoot both.

At further inspection, raptors can only get plasmas by swapping their bolts so no gunslinger for them. Assault marines can swap the CCW though.

Wolf guards are an example of a unit that can switch both so they can get dual wielding combi weapons or plasma pistols. But I would say its not really worth it considering how much awsome gear they can take (including becoming a terminator/biker/jump infantry)

Except the harness' rule states you can't fire more than one personal weapon along with one of the harness' weapons.

Gunslinger lets him fire two pistols as his one personal weapon: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/465130.page

Gunslinger allows you to fire two pistols, more than one. The harness lets you fire one harness weapon and another gun. Not another pair of guns, another gun. Codex over rules the BRB so one harness weapon and one of the two plasma pistols he has, or a grenade...but its technically not a gun...

Combi weapons aren't pistols so you can't sling 'em.

Black Templar Techmarines would be able to use 3 plasma pistols?! insane!!! I love Black Templar techmarines!!! I've overlooked this rule as well. Typically i run my techmarine with all CC weapons due to the fact he can attack with his normal weapons, PLUS 2 powerfist attacks!

Wolf guard can duel wield bolt and plasma pistol but wolf scouts cannot. Wolf guard scouts don't actually exist.

It's not the size of the blade, it's how you use it.
