I'm planning on stripping and repainting my FW Hellblade (going to use it as a counts as heldrake for the new Chaos 'Dex).
I have never stripped FW resin before and am wondering if it safe to do it the same way as i would a metal or plastic model.
i normally soak them in hot soapy water and scrub with an old toothbrush.
Note: Simple Green is not an option in the UK as it is STUPIDLY expensive to order.

Dettol? Dettol is your regional equivalent of simple green.

It should work the same way as on plastics, though I've never tried it with FW resin.
Try it on a small bit first to make sure there isnt any detail warping or softening of the resin too much.

Fairy Powerspray.
It'll take off the paint, even the paint my garage door was covered in, and won't damage the model. I also use an old head on one of those electric toothbrushes. But I have also left a vinyl model in there for several weeks and no damage to the model at all.

It'll take Marilyn Monroe, and Lao-Tzu, and Einstein, and Morobuto, and Buddy Holly, and Aristophanes…then all of this…all of this…was for nothing. Unless we go to the stars." QFT, that smell is impossible to get rid off!
Not sure on the effect Dettol has on resin though
