Hey all, i've whipped together a different list than i usually do for 1000 points, and was wondering what everyone would think of it, I've NEVER fielded Immortals before, so this is a first. At 1000 points. Overlord 190 (SW,MSS,WS, Orb) Stormtek 35 Lightning field Destroktek 35 immortals 170 (Tesla) w/ OL, tek immortals 170 w/ GOF Warriors x5 65 Triarch Stalker 155 Particle Shredder A-barges x2 180 Total 1000 The plan is to gunline it up, I figured the teks would be best used to deal with monstrous creautures and light armor, along with the barges and stalker, who will let me re-roll my immortal's misses, giving me more chances for 6's, and most chance to hit with the lances. Warriors are there to just camp a home objective really, i dont intend for them to see heavy combat

I like when people try out new things. If my advice conflicts with trying something new, ignore me
I dislike Particle Shredders on Stalkers.
The GoF has a points cost
I think you might do better with 2x Storm-teks, with a Lightning field on the OL squad, or even one of each.
If you have the points for it, I like Phase Shifter over Weave on my OL.

Whoops, forgot to update the points cost on the GOF.
What would you suggest on the stalker instead? I like the particle shredder as an anti-horde precaution, plus, its easy to land a hit with to help twin link things.
I like that idea, ima switch the GOF cryptek to a stormtek with lightning field, actually lowers the points cost, with more utility , plus haywire fun vs vehicles.
Sadly, if i could get the phase shifter, i would, but points are pretty tight without taking away immortals :/

The default weapon on the Stalker is great.
At 1000 points, a monolith might be fun. I could actually see a weird argument for 3x Monoliths, 3x Immortal squads, Dlord with MSS.

See, that'd just be mean haha,
The meltagun/heatray? hm, I understand its a good weapon, but my local meta doesnt really seem very mechanized, might be a waste at that point.

Well, all the weapons the stalker has offer the twin linking as long as I hit, but the particle shredder has the best anti-horde utility was my thought process. Its also decent vs light armor or creatures still due to the str 7 ap 4 nature of it.
