Though this list would be amusing to use. Basically put as many stealth units and drones in the army as possible, and yes I know it would be really ineffective.

I though if one member from a stealth squad took an upgrade don’t they all need to upgrade? (Although any mix of systems)

If you can get them remora gun drones too are fun

My personal favorite use for the stealth suits are to infiltrate them behind rear armor 10-11 at 18 inch, move in 6 and dakka it away with a full squad of 6 with 2 gun drones each for something like 300 pts

The shas'vre can select wargear from the battlesuit wargear section and thats were the hw Drone controller was purchased along with the drones.

To issues I see. To many sniper teams. You can only have one Heavy slot of sniper drones made up of 3 teams.

On the stealth teams you are short about 10 drones each if you want max stealth drones. Each stealth suit can take support system upgrade.

You should have the points left bring the Stealth teams up and dropping the sniper overage, to add some gun drone squads.

Oh you could also add a second fusion Blaster to each stealth team. That would bring up the army effectiveness.

Actually I think his Drone teams are fine, there just not listed very clearly. Each heavy support slot is filled with a full unit of 3 sniper teams, for a total of 9 Sniper teams, there just listed as 9 separate teams.

The stealth teams would be more cost-effective as 3 man teams with 6 drones.

On another note, you really need some more diversity. the concept is amuzing, but not that rational to have ONLY stealth.

Pack some more troops too, its still an objective game usually.

That is the problem, according to the drone sniper team entry "3 teams may be taken ....but only one such choice may be made per army". That set the max sniper drone teams to 3.

i was looking more at the points and it does not add up though

6 suits with 1 hw dc with there mandatory gun drone + 2 fb + vre upgrade is more than 250 per squad

i don't see how you got 212

if you take a single upgrade for 1 suit all suits must take an upgrade as well

also if you take a hw dc 1 drone is mandatory

The rule states the following right

"... Each member may select one Battlesuit Support system. If this option is taken, all members must do so..."

Which is fairly straight forward

But it then states further down

"...team leader at ... and may select additional items from the Battlesuit Wargear list..."

Now it may just be me but this means that he can choose seperatly from the rest of the squad as it is from a different set of options.

The codex has three different options for Battle suit upgrades and each is labeled differently

Battlesuit Weapons Systems, Battle suit support systems, Battlesuit Wargear.

The Shas'vre purchased his controller and drones through the Wargear list, not the support systems list. (that may not be how its supposed to work, thats how I read the rule)

Points wise if you take that into account it works out just fine.

Sniper dones, honestly didn't really relise only one set of three per army. oh well you'd be pretty stupid to take more than 3 anyway.

Still i'd love to play against someone in a friendly game just to see what you could do with it.

Yeah you could do it that way and be legal, weird but legal.

I would assume additional items would imply that it’s purchased in addition to the first item meaning you would have to take upgrades on all.

But Im not going to argue or rules lawyer, the concept however still looks fun. Till the flamers come out: P
