Any of the Brits seen the few which have hit the stores over there yet?

I have been waiting for the Supacat models for awhile now, but I am curious to know how Airfix has done with the first kits that they have released already (as I assume if they manage to get them straight - the rest should be as well).

Yep, about a year after they announced they were going to be doing them. Like I said though, mostly interested to seeing how the models turned out - vehicles specifically...though I it is a good thing to see more activity in the 1/48 scale in general.
So...anyone actually picked up a box yet? I'll probably have to wait another month or more before they manage to get their first shipments over here from over there.

Don't always trust the Airfix site. My local Modelzone had the 8 man patrol set, the single landrover box and the Lynx patrol set along with the two resin buildings. It did not have the double land rover, Jackal or Coyote sets. According to staff they are to follow next month with crew models possibly due out next year.

As mentioned - Airfix isn't generally the best source for information regarding...Airfix. I know Modelzone got their kits in last week and as I understand it they will be available to the rest of the Eurozone this week.
North America though has to have their lot portioned off and stuck in the belly of a slow boat, then shifted about through the US firm who handles the distribution here. I could order a box or two from over there - but that is ridiculous expensive shipping (50 quid from Modelzone).
