In my space marine army, I have a ten man sternguard unit in a drop pod with a mastery level 2 psyker. Upon learning that for some reason the space marine codex does not have Divination unlike every other space marine codex (Why?) I am at a loss for what psychic discipline to take.

Nullzone and then maybe gate.
You should have him with terminator armour and storm shield, so actually go nullzone and vortex of dome. Keep him away from other models when he uses the vortex.

An opponent that lacks inv. saves in their army will die easily to the sternguard and the worse armies to face probably have inv. saves. So actually nullzone in a drop pod is bound to be useful, in particular it wrecks daemons.

These are standard codex powers right? I haven't got the codex on hand at the moment... Cus if it isn't I cant guarantee that setup. Ill have a scope through my dex later tonight. Thanks.

I regularly fight space marine players.

Those who take Space Wolves allies *just* for the Divination powers win against me consistantly.

Every power on that list is 100% game-changing for armies that previously lacked such abilities.

Heavy Bolters with Prescience? Painful. Ignore cover against anyone with Plasma Cannon devastators?

I was referring to codex powers.
Space marines do not get divination, see OP.

To continue the derailment: With Rune priests it is really hard to say good bye to living lighting or jaws.

Very well, just offering my input since there was clearly some lament about not having Divination.
