I suppose everyone knows about the new termies that FW released and I was wondering what rules they will have and how much they will cost. I had a search around and couldnt find anything very informative.

Cheers

I assume that they will use regular terminator rules, but I could be wrong.

I read somewhere that they trade their 5++ for a 4++, but at the expense of trading Relentless for Slow and Purposeful.

Yea thats what I heard on my travels through the internet. I spose we will have to wait until someone scans the Horus Heresy rule book.

They gain slow and purposeful, with 4++ save as standard.

I guess that's why there are no rubric terminators in the Chaos codex. They were already slow & purposeful before the Rubric - afterwards they became completely immobile.

Which is awsome now that SnP doesn't slow you down. You just can't overwatch, whoop-de-frikin-do.

Cataphract Terminators are officially awsome.

That's against the rules to post, gentlemen.

They're covered in the Horus Heresy Forge World book.

I think it'd be fair to ask it this way... Do they cost more or less than standard terminators?

Depending how they are equipped they have a variety of point costs. All of which are listed in the book which I have yet to order.

I believe they are slightly less.

IIRC, the HH point costs are on a different scale then the regular point scale. They are meant to be used against other HH books.

Even standard HH termies are different than the Codex SM ones, different era, different abilities, different costs. Probably should just get the book gents.

Someone realized how much I wanted it, so now I have to wait until Dec. 25th to read it.

Got my HH book yesterday. Characters may upgrade their armor to Cataphracti for the same price as regular terminator armor. There are different rules for the Cataphracti, but it isn't terribly different. There are a couple of terminator units that have the option to take cataphracti. I don't believe there is a point difference (free swap).
