Hi there

I thought the Northern amongst us would like to know that there's a Late War Flames of War tournament, 1750 points, on 27th and 28th October.
The venue is Trinity Community Centre, High Street, Gateshead.

Details:

V3 Rules, all national rules from V3 supersede all others.
LW 1750 pts all official PDF's and book lists.
5 games over 2 days, 2.5 hrs per game.
Standard scoring and 1 point per objective attacker contests @ end of game. Plus Best Army(15%) Most Sporting(15%) Best General(15%)
Best Army voted on by players during Armies on Parade. Best General and Most Sporting voted for by players after last game.

Saturday

Registration 0800-0830.
Armies on parade 0800-0900.
Game 1 starts @ 0930, armies can be deployed and ready for the 1st turn.
Lunch 1200 till 1300
Game 2 starts @1315 till 1545.
Game 3 starts @ 1600 till 1830.

Sunday

Game 4 starts @1000 till 1230.
Lunch 1230 till 1345.
Game 5 starts 1400 till 1630.
Tournament awards 1700.

Missions could be as an example:

1. Encounter (FairFight).
2. Pincer (Defensive Battle).
3. Break Through (Mobile Battle).
4. Dust Up (Fair Fight).
5. No Retreat (Defensive Battle)
