Im having a fething nightmare putting my enforcers together.. first of all, I cant figure out if this bizarre resin/plastic is better with superglue or plastic glue. Secondly, I found the bodies dont fit into the legs so well, and then the shoulders and weapons dont go together so well either, and when you put it all together, they tend to crumble in my fists.

Anyone else had issues?

For those of you that havent yet bought but are about to, Ive got some hard earned advice after getting the first five together!

1. Attach the shoulders and weapons before the heads and legs, as they are the toughest, and the heads and legs tend to fall off when you are fething about with the weapons!

2. Get a scalpel and cut the little cubes of flash off the bottom of the torsos and inside the waistband on the legs.

You need superglue, plastic glue doesn't work on resin plastic.

I had the same issues Matty: suggestion time, buckle up, it's a ride! Okay, maybe not. But still, some hints.

1. Glue the left arm to the torso first and let it dry.
2. Glue the right shoulder piece and do a dry fit of the gun attached to both wrists and glue the right arm in place to the torso based on this.
3. Glue the gun in (possibly having to cut down the wrist peg of the right hand).
4. Glue to legs.
5. Glue head to torso.

For the heavy weapons, you end up with extra plastic heavy weapons for the assault squad-use these with the heavy weapon teams instead of the metal one provided in each. I took one look at the metals and tossed em to the side-the plastic ones aren't too rough-form fit the pegs into the arms, and glue both arms to the body at the same time. They have to actually bend outwards a bit to go on the torso and the tension will keep the weapon in place.

Your big issue will be the missile launchers-the left arm does not fit properly, and trying to bend it results in it breaking. Do it carefully and it won't snap completely in half-you can fill in the gap with liquid green stuff.

Hope some of that helps and makes sense.

That sounds like a pretty horrible process... this hybrid metal/plastic nonsense has to stop!

Amen-it was rough, but it was worth it. They're gorgeous models, and no harder than hybrid GW models were in the past.

Hey, SS, do you have access to Enforcer army lists for the beta? I didn't realize you have to be a part of the newsletter to get them, and haven't been able to find them anywhere. I've already got enforcers, corporation and marauders heading in to me on Friday, and I want to encourage friends to start playtesting with me, and having 3 armies will be more useful to attract others than just two.

i use just a tiny bit of greenstuff/graystuff/brownstuff with superglue, bonds near instantly. i havent had a problem with that so far. an issue i've seen so far, is that some of the torsos dont want to sit right in the legs, so i have to work em to fit.

Yeah, this is a definite problem-cut the bowl out further, the pouches get in the way a bit. I had to do it more than a few times. If you haven't had a problem with the arms yet, just wait til the missile launcher arms. I swore a few times at those.
