Looks disgustingly Nurgle!

Nice one, but if you want some criticisms...
While rust is fine, green parts of armour look too flat - either try to add little bits of rust onto them, or try to use some dark brown wash. Also add rust to the weapon - it is unrealistically clean for Nurgle. But you are definetely moving in right direction with this work!

Ok, thank you for the comments, especially tseguevara I agree with your comments, by add rust to the green bits other than what i have done how can i do it whilst still maintaining the contrast from the rest of the carapace also i wanted the weapons to contrast from the hull so i was thinking may-be a coating of toxic green slime, any ideas on how to achieve this?

Well, do you really need high contrast there? ; ) But if you want to go really hardcore: take a detail brush (something around of 0 size) and use it to apply just tiny bits of pigment onto green areas, just like small dots, then fix it. Also take some highli diluted black oil paint (worked fine for me, though people out there advice using tamiya "smoke" acrylic paint; actually, I think any dark paint/wash should be fine) and do just the same thing with rusty parts - small-sized areas of nearly brown or even black rust. As for the weapon - you shoul not cover the whole thing in pigments, just a tiny bit here and there.
Also you may just take some dark reddish brown (for example Hull Red from Vallejo) and add some "paint chipping" using a sponje - it will make an effect of not "complete decay" as on rusty parts, but rather "first stage of decay" when the top layer of green "paint" (hmm, did Nurgle himself paint this blight drone, or did he just used already painted pieces of junk? ) starts to disappear and you can see the "primer" (in real-life scenario anything will be given a "primer" of (usually) brown paint before applying actual colors, won't it?).

If I undestand you correctly, you want something like brown liquid on forgeworld's one (http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/AlternativeFW/xlarge/Bdrone6.jpg)? Maybe it won't be really good method, but you can try using some kind of transparent water effect mixed with bright yellow color, though there should probably be much better ways...

Its late here at the moment so i won't be doing any painting now but tomorrow i will apply small amounts of rust pigment to the green and add dabs of tamiya clear smoke to all rusty areas, also I will use a sponge on the weapons with a 1:1 mix of Scorched brown and khorne red.
I'll be sure to post the results tomorrow.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I might have been a little bit misleading, I meant using sponge on the hull, not the gun.

Ok so I attempted the changes, I'm happy with gun however I think the added effect on the hull done with a wash is too subtle I know it doesn't look that way in the picture but its because if the flash, in reality it is many times fainter anyway I would appreciate feedback on the changes.
