I am brand new to Warmachine, and I have just bought a PoM Starter Force as well as a Choir. I'm looking to put together a 15 point list, and I'm not exactly sure where to go. I currently have:

ppKreoss
Crusader
Revenger
Repenter
Choir (min)

Which puts me 2 points shy of my 15, and I'm not sure what else to take. I've had a few suggestions, and I have put serious thought into getting a Vassal, but I wanna get everyones opinion on it! Thanks!

The Vassal is a good option. He can help the Revenger get an extra shot when Kreoss drops everyone.

Other options (in descending order):

Covenant (the book; my friends call it "the most broken thing in the game besides continuous fire")
Mechanik and Wracks
Exemplar Errant Seneschal
Paladin
Alten Ashley (a mercenary; only take if you play against Hordes armies a lot)

Hmm...those are the best options I can come up with off the top of my head. The book and the Vassal are probably your best bets.

Yeah, I decided on the Vassal, it filled up the points that were needed and is used in quite a few lists from what I've seen. Really excited to start playing, hopefully I will get in a few games next Monday!

Got my butt handed to me in my very first game, then I played a second and decided that I was being far too shy with Kreoss. So I brought Kreoss in, used his feat, and shot a few Immolation at their Warcaster before charging with a one armed Crusader for the win.

I'm also hoping to get my hands on some Exemplar Bastions for when I decide to bump the list up to 25 pts. If anyone knows of someone that is willing to part with theirs for relatively cheap, send em my way!!

I doubt you'll find any Bastions for cheap...Cinerators, yes. Bastions are too popular.

Yeah. I'm finding that to be true. Lol. But I've decided to follow my original plan orgetting Errants. Also found a pretty good deal for a small amount of mercs.

Exemplar Errants + UA are an amazing unit.

Expecially with Defenders Ward on them...

Errants are what I was planning on using at first. Then I looked into Bastions. And now I'm back to Errants lol

(mostly) Kidding. I have found myself taking the Errants less often than the Bastions, because, IMO, they are a 12 point investment vs 8. Without the Seneschal and the UA, I haven't had much success with them.

That's most likely what ill do. The monetary investment for errants is a bit much for me at the moment as well. And I'm getting a few mercs I can use in the list!
