Hello all!

So I'm just getting started in wargaming, got 2 basic Malifaux (Ortega, and Pandora) crews, as well as the Warmachine 2 player battle box and I've expanded upon those armies a bit (Khador and Menoth)- played 1 game of Malifaux, none of warmachine, I really really want to get into 40k but that's just a bit too pricey at this point, so I just use the downtime at work to drool at images online

Painting is my biggest thing at the moment, I'm really, really bad and slow, but I'm trying to get my armies sorted and look out for a club. At 28 I'm probably older than most gamers, especially those just starting, but I've always wanted to embrace my inner geek!

Unfortunately none of my friends are interested in this sort of stuff, but oh well!

Nah i'm 29 and just started, only played 6 games. I prefer the older opponents anyway as they (most of the time) are more patient and know the rules and don't cheat....as much as the younger kids.

haha I started out crazy bad at painting. Lots of asking people at the store and looking online and I got scheme that I like, looks good and is easy to do.
I'm now using the Games Workshope painting guide book thing and it's got lots of good tips and videos, but it is pretty costly. The starter set is an insane deal though at least....anyway good luck!

Geting my W&N S7 brush today, size 1 I think I bought, so that should help (using cheap brushes and the tips tend to fork at rather inappropriate moments), and plan to do a bit of painting on the weekend
