OK, I am trying to make a versatile and fun list, with many diff.options (for enhanced rules learning), not that much competitive, but not entire crap either. It will be fielded against Soviet Tankovy with lots infantry support. I've been using both
GW and V3 for inspiration but they both have some issues.
GW allows me to field GPG Mortar Platoon without taking
HMGs and paying extra points, but V3 has Marders, which
GW for unknown reason is lacking.
The list currently is as follows:
Company
HQ and 2iC with no upgrades (because I am running out of points)
2 GPG platoons with 4 stands each - again no upgrades except for the free 251/10 on both platoon commands
Heavy Platoon with 2
HMG and 2 x 251/2s - or just 2 x 251/2s when using Grey Wolf.
3 Panzers
3 Marders (again, Marders are out when using
GW)
Panzerspah (223 + 2 x 222s) - now this is my main concern. I will be defending most probably (unless the other player decides to switch to Strelkovy with lots of tanks

), so I will not be ambushing, but I can still use them to lift
GtG infantry. These are 110 points anyway, which could be invested into extra GPG platoon stands and various upgrades. e.g. panzerfausts...
Or I could just take the minimum infantry stands, a couple of Panzers IV, forget Marders and Recce and invest into one Tiger 1E? Seems not very fun for my opponent, who will only have his IL-2 to deal with this threat...
