Hey guys, with the return of chaos within only a few days, and reading some rumors around the net, it looks like my night lord might finally fly again with the point decrease on raptors and the addition of warptalons.

On my focus to make a fast army I remembered i got some chaos bikes from an old battleforce, also by the same time (3.5ed codex) I bought me 2 additional ones because... marines on bikes... and covered with spikes... how could anyone say no? So i had my 5man chaos bike squad, sadly they weren't the best on the table and on 4th ed they were just plain awful (i personally think all the fast options of our current codex aren't worth their points). With the rumors I saw a 13 point drop on their cost somewhere... so.. assuming this is true... damn a bike squad would be a tough cookie, and since i'm getting my claws on a Dark Vengeance I'll probably desecrate those ravenwing bikes.

So my question is as follows... the new bike models from what i've seen have special bases like the cavalry ones but with round edges and i'm assuming the ravenwing ones on the starter set will have these, however my old chaos bike have square ones therefore missing 1in approx, will there be a problem if a field them like this (mixed with the round ones)?

If those are the bases originally supplied with the model, then you can continue to use them.
If you want to update to the newer bike bases, then go for it (but the rules don't require it).
