Hey dakkafriends!
I've been playing Eldar for a few months now and have been consistently losing games. I've been trying to play against more people so as to learn more, but I don't think I'm learning as much as I should. I know the Eldar need to work in conjunction with each other (rather, that it is pivotal to their success) and figured I should get some more advice on how better to use the units I have. Using Guardians, DA's, a WL, Jetbikes(which I can field as either guardian jetbikes or jetseers), Farseer, harlies, reapers, banshees, and a Wave Serpent, can anyone give me some general pointers as to how to use them in conjunction with each other? (This is in terms of placing them apart from each other, targeting other units, ect and is not intended to be an army list review)

Death and Fate have taken the stage.

heres a tip.
the farseer is the most tactically flexible hq in the game if you ask me. use his beneficial powers to enhance squads. for example you could guide your da's about to shoot that marine squad, you could doom that space marine squad that are about get assualted by your banshees, you could fortune that wave serpent to re-roll its jink save, the possibilities are endless.

the point is: use the farseer to make life easier for you with your eldar

Um well that is going vary great based on what you are up against, terrain, mission, etc. For example if facing off against something with long range shooting and the mission is objectives, you want to reserve your bikes for late game objective grabbing. If you are facing an assault heavy army you want to put your farseer with the harlies for area denial.

In short there isn't a "place this here and this here to win" with Eldar. You have to be fluid and move/position your army in reaction to the fight. The best advice I can give on that front is buy an Aegis Line w/ Quad gun, put the farseer with the reapers, and put the reapers behind the Aegis line with the Exarch in BtB with the gun. Position the Harlies behind them for charge threat.
