Hey all.

So, a quickie question. Flamers, and screamers, got unbeleivable, being good at killing anything each, and still being cheap and fairly resillient.
So, why wouldn't this army, work?

HQ
Herald of Tzeentch chariot.

Elite

3x9 flamers

Fast attack

3x9 screamers.

Use the rest of the points to fill out the troops choice.

This army could, in theory, reliably kill anything. So, is there something i'm missing?

I would run the heralds on discs with the flamers for a bigger center model to DS around - but you are pretty much correct. The made those choices strictly better than the others.

An army like this won the local tournament.

Not much competition.

The only thing i can think is that it doesn't leave you a ton of points for troop choices. considering 6th ed mission types are 5/6 objective based, it's something to consider.

Also Lord of Change is both a beast and a great gak-magnet. I've run train on some very well generaled Tau with a LoC and a flying Daemon Prince.
