Both seem to work fine for me. Avenger lose points for their outlandish hats, scorpions lose points because they smell to funny to score.

My favorite were the Fire dragons quite honestly, if the scorpions still had melta bombs I would have kept them in the match. The ability to score is just worth more to my lists than any other aspect, add a dash of defend and you have a seriously hardcore shock attack unit.

12 point models with Assault weapons and I 5 ruin almost any Guard players day
