Cohort Cybernetica – all models in the formation are fielded as a single unit and robots can fire at different targets
1 Tech-Priest Dominus-gets the rules for the Cybernetica Datasmith
2 Kastelan Robot Maniples
Elimination Maniple – gain +1 BS and ignore cover
2-3 units of Kataphron Destroyers
1-3 Kastelan Robot Maniples
Numinous Conclave – must have equal numbers of each type of unit gain crusader and re-roll wounds
2-3 Fulgurite Electro-Priests
2-3 Corpuscarii Electro-Priests
Holy Requisitioner – Deep Strike with no error
1 Tech-Priest Dominus
2-3 units of Kataphron Breachers
I have feeling that one formation, may be utilised more often than others...
Pricing doesn't seem too outrageous considering that you get two big models. I wonder if GW will produce some of the other types of robot over time? Could be very interesting times!
Forgeworld already makes a number of them. It's just a question of whether they'll give them rules for 40k as opposed to being in the Mechanicum 30k list.
Oh trust me I know, I own them all! I was referring to ones such as the colossus and crusader which haven't been made yet. (Huh, just realized the gun in the image matches that of the castellan).
On a side-note, that Jes Goodwin really knows how to sketch...
Those old school robots coming back out in the right scale this time?
At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Well, we don't know what exactly the Kataphrons do yet (all we have is vague rumors that they're a 2w relentless troop choice that come with plasma calivers), and the robots can't take grav weapons... *EDIT* Oh yeah the robots are monstrous creatures, so they can't ride in the pods.

BOOM you got yourself a tier 1 list thats eats Scatbikes spam, WG, and WK.
Cool.
The real question is, can you buy and paint it fast enough to actually play it, while it's at the top, before next month's alleged Space Marine codex turns both Eldar and this into the lower-tier garage-games-class armies (only to be relegated in turn by whatever comes out later this summer, etc..).

Well if that's the case, then it will come down to full alpha strike first. 2W robots isn't gonna last long to scatter lasers, might want to bring a void generator for protection then.

Either way. Only Infantry, the unit type, can use transports, unless there're specific exceptions in the rules for a certain transport (Dreads for Pods, Jump Infantry for Stormraven, MCs for that Tyranid thing, etc..).

The only thing leaving a sour taste is this second codex. It should have been all in one book...
It will be, eventually, with even more incredible things than you can imagine!
Have faith in the Motive Force, brother.

'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. Unless Space Marines will get to assault out of drop pods, this won't happen. Space Marines aren't going to be the anti-Eldar codex.

YouTube listed it as being posted 7 hours ago today, he posted that 2 days ago. I didn't think they were the same video.
Oh well.
It's one of the idiosyncrasies of videos being posted privately then made public later. I have no idea why GW makes their advertising unlisted since it by definition makes it harder to hear about their new stuff.

The video was posted on GW's What's New Today page Saturday when the models went on preorder.

I hate my compulsive need to get the "deal" of free shipping, from my favorite online store, meaning I can't order each week's releases until they're all out. :-p
Just give me 1 or 2 of everything please! Directly into my veins if possible.
