Hey there! This is my first Dark Eldar army and so far I am really enjoying the painting aspect of the hobby. I thought I would share my log with you all. Please feel free to critique anything you see Here is my stuff thus far.

My color scheme is a 2:1 mix of mephiston red and abaddon black The chest plates, shoulder pads and body suits are based steel legion drab. I originally was doing a black with teal but wasn't really liking it so I switched it! I did post some of the other models just cause.

Warriors WIP

These are basecoated and the first layer of highlighting done.

The rest of these warriors are nearly done. All that's left to do is a couple touch up things!

10 man squad

Incubi
Unit of ten. They're just assembled and half of em are primed. VERY excited to paint them!

Wracks
These guys are my only completed unit haha! I am not a fan of their skin, but whatevs. I am planning on getting another box of em in the future and figuring out how to do the flesh tones right.

Scourges

This was my test model for the wings. I'm not sure where to go from here. They don't look quite right to me :/ The base is 8ish layers of extremely watered down Rakarth Flesh. Then 2 wash of 2:1 Reikland Fleshshade & Sepia. The a glaze of mephiston red was used to create the red veins. Then the crimson wash was used the crevices near the base of the wing along the bones.

more of the same guy.

and another

5 man squad. Next purchase is more of these!

Haemie

Just base coated so far...

Venom 1

Pilot and windshield are not done yet.

Venom 2

Raiders

Both are primed black, the sail is primed white. Both bodies have a base coat of the red/black mixture.

Razorwing
Most recent purchase

working on uploading pictures right now!
I have 12 reavers, 10 wyches and a female from Raging Heroes on the way the I CANNOT wait to paint!

here's the old color scheme I started out with. I decided it was too "Tronny" for my liking. This guy was one of my first models though so I decided to keep him the way he is.

Nice force I like the richness of the red on the miniatures very cool that amount of Incubi should get anyone nervous I like this army you can consider me as a fellow Dark Eldar player subbed *nods*

Keep the work up matey.

"Ooh, a big flashy lighty thing! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually, but give me time. And a crayon!" ...

1 inquisitor, not even a inquisitor lord, and the other 2955pts went into orbital bombardment lance strikes.
