This will be my second apocalyptic battle against GK and this time I am trying a very triarch nonflyer army. I don't want to much HQ power and no Apoc. Models. This is also meant for a mostly close combat battle.

The c'tan can only take 2 powers apiece, and you can't have repeats of the powers...per org chart at least, so you still have to cherry pick that.

Given its grey knights, i'd suggest changing some of your crypteks to despairteks, and attaching them to deathmark squads so they can teleport around the battlefield and wipe squads at a time, get maybe 2-3 of those.

You could free up some points on that overlord in the CCB, he cant use the labyrinth in the barge right? nor the Tachyon arrow. ect, you could use that to get more bodies ect.

That being said, never played Apoc myself, looks pretty crazy.

You should be able to use tl from the command barge. Chariot rules states that the unit in the chariot counts as being in base contact with anyone who is in base contact with tha chariot. And I think you may use the ta too, as the ccb is opentopped and ta is a shooting attack. You're right about the C'tan though.

No my friend is loaning me his army which includes 48 wraiths and half of the pratorian with PC and VB the annihilation barges are all mine but 3. Some pratorian are old pariahs, and some flayed ones are old. One fran is my friends. 2 cryptels are lords. My overlords came with ccb. Half of the arks are my friends

Also, you may only have one unique wargear upgrade per royal court, and you include 5 gaze of flames in each.

Also, how are you running your courts? Are you splitting them to lead various units or are you running them as cohesive courts? If you're splitting them up you could have up to 4 gaze of flames (as you have four HQ choices that unlock courts) as long as they're coming from different courts.

I second the suggestion for Despairteks paired with Deathmarks. Played correctly, any Death & Despair combo unit will make back well more than its points in dead Terminators, MCs, and deathstars. Is there any way you can get ahold of some Deathmarks?

Is the game going to be WYSIWYG? If it's not (and since you've stated this will be a primarily close combat game) I would run the Doomsday Arks as more Ghost Arks. While the Doomsday firepower is nice those Ghost Arks will really help to keep your Warrior casualties light.

On a related note: holy hot tamales that is a lot of zombots. I wish I had half that many.

you need maybe 60 deathmarks split into squads of five. more units of deathmarks are better than small amounts of squads. What good is the triarch stalker?
