well this comes in at 1752 i stil have about 98 points to play with, what are your thoughts, thanks for taking a look

Dont think i would bother with icon or extra bodies on havocs with only autocannons, could get another squad for those points spared, then maybe a gun for your defence line, oh and the icon of wrath is khorne only, though i guess you proberly meant vengeance icon, but still, i would cut it.

Hmmm, I am a little confused as I dont have the new dex yet.

BUT last edition DP was the best catch in the game. Also the extra bodies to blow on the Havocs might be a waste as I am sure you want to put them in the Defense line .... IF you give them and Icon, then use your extra points for lessor Daemons. You can summon them to clame the objective by the havocs, or as reinforcements for you noise marines and chaos.... Chaos marine might need a rhino over an Icon.

no more lesser deamons for us chaos boys, id drop both havocs to 5 man teams, and probably get more noise marines if possible. mabye speading out the numbers to get 4 troop choices

Yeah.... Sorry, I just did some research on the Chaos Codex 6th Ed....

All my advice is useless. I ran twin Lash Princes... Cant do in 6th ed. I used lessor demons as go to ground objective holders.... No more... . I used Icons and marks to summon and deep strike.... No more..... .I used chosen to infiltrate mid field ..... no more.....

Lucky GW, now people will want to buy and field noise marines and havocs over the other ones. Still can't believe they made the best HQ choice into the very worst... Never see a DP in tournaments again.

Looking at what I read.... I would drop the marks and icons, add a second Havoc squad to split the targets, and put the troops in rhinos. They dont need to assault , seams the army is 100% static force from mid field to home field. Big change from the assault and DS I played in 5th but tell me how it works out.

Aight ill be doing a revision soon, and yes I had a misstype on the icon for the havocs,im just worried with ld 9, and 5 men they will lose a few models and that's it for them, demon princes are not particulary good anymore, very cost prohibitive, In my soon to come typhus and abbadon lists I would not be happy if they turned into a prince(or worse spawn) and litteraly lose all that makes them good, I think we got jipped on the usr department with champion of chaos and the basically eye of the gods table
