This was an idea I had for an interesting 6e list that I don't think I've seen played before:
Primary Detachment: Grey Knights
Librarian with Summoning, Sanctuary, and Might of Titan (215)
Terminator squad, Justicar has master-crafted force halberd, one Daemonhammer, one Incinerator, one Brotherhood Banner, and psycannon bolts (255)
Vindicare Assassin (145)
Purifier squad, Knight of the Flame has master-crafted halberd, two psycannons, two halberds, psybolt ammunition (171)
Strike Squad, Justicar has master-crafted force sword, one Incinerator, three halberds, psybolt ammunition (150)
Strike Squad, Justicar has master-crafted force sword, one Incinerator, thee halberds, psybolt ammunition (150)
Interceptor Squad, Justicar has master-crafted force sword, one Incinerator, three halberds, psybolt ammunition (180)
Interceptor Squad, Justicar has master-crafted force sword, one Incinerator, three halberds, psybolt ammunition (180)
Stormraven Gunship with plasma cannon, teleport homer, and Typhoon launchers (245)
Dreadnaught with two twin-linked autocannons and psybolt ammunition (135)
Allied Detachment: Ravenwing
Sammael, Master of the Ravenwing, Land Speeder (205)
Ravenwing Attack Squad, Sergeant has power sword, two bikes with plasma guns (165)
Ravenwing Attack Squad, Sergeant has power sword, two bikes with meltaguns (155)
Ravenwing Support Squadron, two Land Speeder Typhoons (150)
The whole comes in at 2496pts; the genera idea is to start with the Ravenwing detachment, the Assassin, and maybe the Stormraven on the table, then start teleporting the other Grey Knights held in Reserves as necessary to take advantage of the Ravenwing bikes' teleport homers. It relies on good Reserves rolls but has the potential to get to grips with the enemy horribly quickly and do a lot of damage since it gets a whole bunch of people with S5+ shooting weapons in range without having to walk through a lot of fire. The Stormraven drops the Dreadnaught early for optimally-positioned fire support, then runs the Purifiers up into the thick of things while taking potshots at the enemy with its long-ranged weaponry; the Typhoons hang back and shoot targets of opportunity.
Any comments?
