Obviously going for more fluffy and fun, but I'd like to hear some general thoughts. Does this list have a chance at being semi-competitive?

Seems light on units for 2,000 points. I know some of these are just expensive - but I would consider maybe running some stock CSM or cultists at least to provide more bodies on the field.

I am also not that impressed with the Instant Deathable Daemon Prince in the CSM codex - it is 1 demolisher shot away from being creamed.

I would drop the daemonprince, get 18-27 cultists (if wanting to keep with sacred numbers) or maybe a cheap csm squad with a lascannon, and then add an aegis defence line with the comm relay, to get your reserves in fast

I use a similar list. Personally, I'd drop the prince altogether and add more screamers.

Sigil of Corruption is cool to try and keep your Warlord alive, but you could always just say the LoC is the Warlord and everything would still be legal (just use the CSM as allies). The LoC is more durable. I would try to get the Scrolls of Magnus and use your #2 roll on Biomancy while using the book to try and farm for Divination (too cool not too attempt). If you take a wound from the book, you'll likely get Iron Arm for the book's Strength 3 hit or Life Leech to make up for it. If the book kills ya, the LoC is the Warlord. Just brainstorming here, really.

The list you posted is solid. I don't think any of my suggestions would make much of a difference over all, but you might consider one or two. Try the list out with no changes, first.

The list could use tweaking (I recommend rhinos for your thousand sons. A 4+ invulnerable is great but doesnt help vs templates well as you just have to make too many. Plus they cant runs since their slow and purposeful.

Kairos is better in every single way than a normal lord of change.

I play a similar list all the time as demons are my main faction.

Either add more flamers or more screamers!

If you drop the prince, that also makes it so you can flip which is the primary and which is the allies, opening the door for more flamers, screamers, or a Codex Daemons DP.

In the grim darkness of the far future, there are only rules disputes.
