Sort of a reverse question to the " were there loyalists in the traitor legions" question. Were there any members of the loyalist legions who sided with chaos during the heresy?

The Fallen Dark Angels. But wait, it gets worse. Depending on which version you want to believe...

Spoiler:
The so-called "fallen" were actually the true loyalists, what would make the DA and its successors traitors comfortably sitting amongst the loyalists' ranks

Also, there's a piece of artwork in the "Visions of Heresy" artbooks (I think it's called "The Blades of the Traitor") depicting a possessed Blood Angel amongst a gathering of renegades. His cooperation might not be voluntary, though.

In the SM codex there is a short story about a disgruntled Ultramarine sergeant who sided with rebels along with his squad randomly after a mission in which he killed some corrupt tyrants, which the civvies didn't like. He felt bad and decided to lead them to a greater age lol

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

In Shadows of Treachery there is a Raven Guard Marine that is with the Knight Lords..with his tongue cut out but still, he's quite clearly a traitor that turned.
