So i have a 2k 1 force org tournament coming up in november (ill be underway for the october one sadly) and im trying to come up with a list. i like the idea of an outflanking land raider, im not sure if it will be competitive please tell me if you think its a horrid idea. but i think it sounds awesome. here is the list i just came up with, i tried to make it synergistic but having not played too many 6th ed games im not sure if i have succeeded. its sitting at either 1994 or 1999, im confused as to whether or not the termi champ can take items from the "terminators may chose from any of these three" options or if he is stuck with the more expensive armory entries. i went with the more expensive just in case. its only a matter of adding one cultitst though really so its not too dire.

Short answer- Yes. Loving' Huron's Warlord Trait with his points cost( I pay more points for mine! )

Only change I'd make is drop Sigil and Gift for the Murder Sword. Do you have VotLW on your Lord? I'd give him a combi-plasma, what with all the 2+ saves about.

Your terminators are illigal, you cant buy both melee upgrades and shooty upgrades now, you sadly have to choose. running huron makes me want to skip the landraider all together, and just infiltrate a 10 man terminator squad, dont really need the transport if you can start closer or outflank. allso i used to run 5man plaguemarines with plasma shooting out rhe top hatch, but have you considered running a 10 man csm doing the same ? its only 10 more points for double the boots on the ground. allso i dont know the imperial guard dex, how many troop choices do they give you, 2 ?

yeah i dont like this list anymore, one i found out the terminator thing, and then i found out you cant assault after an outflank so im going to make a completely different huron list.

Infiltrating with a raider is pritty nifty tho if you go 2nd you can get a 1st turn charge

Yeah thats another option, i just thought it would be so much cooler to outflank with a raider right into the charge. i could infiltrate it if the enemy didnt have too many meltas, otherwise the guys inside could only eat whatever sacrificial squad came up to melta me. instead of something a bit more valuable.
