Now, I like makin' my orks have trophies from allies armies to show that I've stomped dem good an' propa
but, the source is limited, Getting bits from my friends is like pulling teeth
So where can I get my own trophy ish bitz, what sets have them? like a skull, or a severed head, or an interesting piece of loot?
If any of you know what sets have them, it'd be appreciated, I know I can buy the bitz on E-bay or some other online source, but I'm weird and like having lotsa neat stuff

I'm pretty sure the chaos marine sprues are stuffed with throphies, also the rhino's have sprues of spears with heads on them. I think you should look out through a few ebay sellers (which usually have ridiculous amounts of different bits for sale).

Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless and perfunctory gift nobody ever asked for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down because there's nothing left to drink. Sure once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or a English toffee, but they're gone too fast and the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits of hardened jelly and teeth shattering nuts. If you're desperate enough to eat those all you've got left is a. An empty box, filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

Genestealer sprues have Genestealer skulls with bullet holes in them and Tyranid warrior heads come without the jaw on so are very easy to make look like trophies and the Carnifex kit also has a head with an eye blown off. As stated above chaos rhino sprues offer a wide variety of skulls from every race and are conveniently already on spikes! The chaos terminators also have a few and the chaos terminator lord has some neat ones aswell. Other then those pretty much just try and find heads from various races on eBay.

Just ask if they have ANY bits that they dont use. Ive found weapons are a good place to start. I have a couple bolters hanging off of a few banners in my army, a vent from a CSM backpack, also offer to trade a few of your unwanted bits for the same reason. The guys you play with HAVE to have a few spare somethings laying around. If they wont trade them up, then youve got some real stingy friends

The nid bits I didn't know about, thanks
The CSM rhino is probably the best Idea, I might run that army
and I never thought about using weapons, usually I take helmets or skulls, but a weapon would look pretty nice hah
Necron is hard for me to find though :(

If you win a battle, ask your opponent if he would be willing to paint up a spare bit in the scheme of his army for your "trophy room." A shoulder pad from a Marine Army, a Tau weapon or drone, something.
More people would probably do that if you went to your FLGS bits bin and bought the bit for them to paint. It would only be a quarter or so and you get the bit you want.

Of course you can also reciprocate by painting up an old grot to match your army, complete with a coller and chain to present to your opponent should he win.

Life isn't fair. But wouldn't it be worse if Life were fair, and all of the really terrible things that happen to us were because we deserved them?
