Stealthy Space Wolves Scout

During the Horus Heresy Warp storms were just as possible as during the 41st Millennium am I right? If that is the case, when the legions were travelling about or when portions of the legions (because they were sometimes divided into fragments but usually together as a whole, right?) could they have got lost in the Warp as Garro and the Death Guard did aboard the Eisenstein? Would it then be possible for them to disengage from the Warp after the Warp storm and enter into the 41st Millennium?

Yes but most people will label your fluff Mary Sue and demonise you. Alot of people find this story set up rather annoying.

Oh personally I wouldn't have that in my fluff, just got thinking about my army which of course happens to be pre-Heresy and my friend's 41st Millennium marines and then something just clicked and I required an answer.

Yes, go into the warp and you could pop out anywhere in time, you can be on course and arive hundreds years or thousands of years later even though for you only a couple of months have gone by. it's just the warp to put it plainly.

Come into my web, said the spider to the fly.
Come rest your wings, and let us talk eye to eye.
For I am a spider, and you are the fly. Now that you are here, let us sit, and say hi.
But I have have no morsel to share, nor anything to eat. But wait, what is that stickiness upon your feet.
Ah now I have you, now I can eat. Now I can enjoy you, or store you as meat.
For I am the spider, and you are the fly. How else could it have gone, between one such as you, and one such as I.
