ive just been into my local hobbycraft store which used to be a great place to get W&N brushes and plasti card and bits. i wandered round it and wanting to spend £40 - £60 on paints and raw plastic stock (and maybe some warbikers if they had them) i spent 15 mins looking for 3 or 4 decent detail brushes and was only able to find 2 that hadnt been wrecked. then i found a decent matt red spray can and went to search for the modeling material only to find that they have "moved away from modeling"!. basically if you arnt into cupcake making or papercraft the store is no good to you.
what a bunch of arse!!!
so i left the store with my wallet intact and my heart despondent as i now HAVE TO FIND A NEW FU$*(NG SUPPLIER OF PLASTICARD

I bought some brushes from Hobycraft a while ago, they were only cheap so i didn't expect them to last very long, but they had a good point on them which is what I was looking for. When I got home, I discovered that the points on the brushes had been GLUED like that. They were rock hard! As soon as I washed the glue off, they splayed out horrendously!
I've also noticed the lack of paints and GW models and other modeling stuff. Used to be a really good shop, but not so much now.

Gotta say tho I did a search for a supplier of plastic card and found relish models I used the contact me page at about 7 pm ON A SAT. I asked about styrene card and styrene card with a diamond plate pattern. I got a reply from the guy within 15 mins saying leave it with me and I will see if I can source this
