Hello everyone! it's been a wile since I last posted! I've been working on wood elves lately and although many people arround where I play insist Wood Elves are not good,
I insist in playing with them cause I love them! Well here's the thing. My local GW is working on a 1200 league with. No strange rules aparently. Now I had a few things in mind.
Please feel free to criticize/change anything. All advice will be welcomed

Now to the list!:

Wood Elf Highborn
Alter Kindred
The Bow of Loren
Arcane Bodkins
Briarsheath
A Pageant of Shrikes
280

Wood Elf Noble
Standard bearer
Hail of Doom Arrow
Asyendi's Bane
130

Spellsinger
Dispel Scroll
Dragontooth Arrows
135

15 Eternal Guard
Standard
Musician
198

12 Glade Guard
144

12 Glade Guard
Musician
144

9 Wardancers
Musician
169

1200

I know it's not the best list, but I tend to play without dryads, although if they're really necesary I could make an exception.
I highly apreciate it if you guys give it a read!

Although I'm new to wood elves myself I believe most people would agree to stay away from Eternal Guard mostly because of how frail and expensive they are and instead pick up some fast cavalry or trees. Also your a bit heavy on characters IMO, get more units instead.

I play wood elves more than any army I have. I have found that most people know wood elves are pretty bad and will be a little accomidating on terrain not to mention being able to place an additional forest. Dryads make great use of forest since they are stubborn inside. Mostly though wood elves have a very frustrating time winning without treekin, dryads and treemen(though at this point range you cant really afford it)

Remember that you cannot combine a magical bow with magical arrows in the same phase.

Your glade guard shouldn't be moving much so no need for a musician or anything of the sorts they are toast if something reaches them.

Wardancers will die instantly to any shooting as they will be singled out as by far the most important unit in your list, Maybe sub them out for warhawk riders so you can get to enemy warmachines if that's likely something you will be facing, remember all Flying Cav is fast Cav.

10k+ High Elf
6.5k Dwarf
7k Original Chaos Dwarf (not the crappy forge world)
6k Bretonnia
7k Wood Elf
6k Dark Elf
8k Tomb Kings
5k Beastmen
5k Lizardmen
7k Daemons of Chaos (roughly 2.5k all but Tzeentch, I find them useless in 8th other than flamers and heralds)
5.5k Empire
