Subject: A Question About Maxmini Resin Scenery and Gaming Aids

Imperial Recruit in Training

Hello,
I have been looking for conversion parts to make a Imperial Guard Hydra Flak Tank, and I have been shown this site and its AA turret.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this product and whether it attaches to a regular Chimera or Basilisk.
The Url is below:

Well their products are nice but their quality control is absolute Crap!...
I ordered several pieces of terrain and nearly all were damaged. Their customer service was nice and agreed to send replacements, but when I received the 2nd set, several of those were damaged as well. At first I thought - OK poor packaging... but then I noticed, on the 'Confession Machine' in particular, the parts were placed into a sealed bag, with the spires already broken off, and the pieces were out of the bag... did nobody pay attention or did they just not care?
Anyway the stuff that came out ok - did look very nice.

Thank you for responding.
With that in mind, I have ordered a small package and will see how damaged it is when it arrives. I suppose many companies are also having problems casting Resin!

The only companies having 'problems' casting resin usually have no idea about the properties of said material OR just don't give a hoot.
There are many resin model makers out there - and a lot of them DO care and know what they are doing. Some of them, however, lack care or concern about either learning about how to fix things, or caring how bits get sent out.

Everything I have ordered from maxmini has been pretty darn good. But I have only ordered small bits like helmets and skulls.
