Imo I prefer slightly "unbalanced" deployments as they make the initial roll off that little more important! Choose to deploy or choose who goes first!?! Both have advantages!

Yeah for me an interesting game wins out over 'fairness' any day. As long as both sides have some chance and there isn't, for example, a Hac Tao with missile lauuncher in cover with LOS over the entire battlefield
