Hi! I was told that you can't go above a value of 10 for any stat, but can't find it in the rules. In the new Chaos codex Chaos Lords with the Veterans of the Long War upgrade would be leadership 11. Is this possible?

As our bodies are armoured with Adamantium, our souls are protected with our loyalty. As our bolters are charged with death for the Emperor's enemies, our thoughts are charged with his wisdom. As our ranks advance, so does our devotion, for are we not Marines? Are we not the chosen of the Emperor, his loyal servants unto death?
To admit defeat is to blaspheme against the Emperor.

BRB Pg 2, second paragraph. Profile statistics are on a scale from 0 to 10.
3rd paragraph
Attacks and Wounds are the only characteristics that can be raised above 10.

Re-read the parenthetical after it says how you modify Leadership under VotLW.
Additionally, page 2 of the BRB under MODIFIERS.

I have a follow up question for this.
If a ld 10 model has votlw and suffers reduced leadership due to something like death leaper does the +1 modifier work to re-increase the models leadership?
Start at 10 - 3 = 7
Or 10-3 + 1 =8?
