Hi.
Just interested, what are the guidelines for content and fiction posted here (level of violence, profanity, horror etc) allowed here?
Thanks!

Anything that doesn't break the Dakka rules ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/core/forum_rules.jsp); so swearing (obviously not fictional words like frack or feth) and sexual content etc. is already disallowed. Horror would be a difficult one to judgde, as would violence, but seeing as the forum is open to all ages, it should really be a little more tasteful than things on, say, deviantART.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

There is also a word filter on Dakka dakka that is handy if you are copy pasting from another website. I post both here and on FF.net, and some of my work contains profanity.
Thankfully, the word filter turns the f word into Feth, which is just as good.

What he said sadly, although it seems my work has never been affected by this. or perhaps a lack of readers
