Got my skorne out for there first few games and trollbloods seem really tough any basic things skorne need to try to do against these guys. My buddys doomshaper with dudes with the giant magic rock and dire trolls seem abit intimidateing.

General ideas vs trolls

-anything with "Take down" is a bonus IE models that ignore the "tough" rule. Farrow Slaughterhousers come to mind. They also hit like a truck against models who have already taken damage. Can you take them as merc / minion?

-Hexeris feat~ when a model is "boxed" you take control of it and get to move / make an attack. Given Trolls have champions, they are fantastic for taking control of and beating on other champions.

-Raseth feat~ its a huge debuff to trolls for str / arm, its actually fantastic. it levels the playing field in many ways. He has Carnivore IE when a model is boxed its removed from play IE no tough check. He has influence, again taking control of trolls making them smack each other.

That should get you started. With trolls they tend to have horrible defense, and great offensive stats. So influence is fantastic. Troll players aren't wild seeing Raseth, he is more of a Cryx caster then a Skorne one.

Tough happens on disabled (disabled, boxed, destroyed) so the stuff that happens on boxed doesn't negate the tough roll.

Cool tricks! So looking for spells and abilities that 'remove from play' will help vs the tough.
I have hexeris and makeda for casters but plan to slowly grow the collection. May get the rasheth if trolls continue to be an auto lose

Any particular units do well vs trollbloods? Or even in general. Very new at this, never even played warmachine just jumped straight to hordes!
