So basically i rush with da boys to CC anything i dont like mabye pop a tank or two

, Then i follow up with vets shooting everything the orks dont stomp, Pick off tanks with the Vendetta and MeltaVets and Kill clumps with the LRBT's or 'Ard ones marbo ... so what do you guys think?

I am actually a fan of this type of list. One thing it lacks is melta. I would get some melta in a couple of those vet squads so you can have an option to deal with more AV14 which is common in 2000pt lists. I am not the uber competitive type but this lists looks like a lot of fun. Templates and blast will hurt though. TBH I'd prefer to see the vets have a chimera so they can move around quickly and have some protection. Just my thought

now i have 20 point left over but and i am seriously considering trying for a couple Chimeras but what would i leach the points form?

The only place that stands out for getting points is the LRBT. Maybe drop one and if you need a little more pts thin out your boys units a little if you have to. I'd dedicate the melta vets to run all melta as well. Go 3 melta, that shaves 10 pts too. if you are firing melta at vehicles the plasma doesn't help anyways. If you find yourself with any points left over the warboss could use cybork armour to gain an invul save or an attack squig for an extra attack. You are thin on pts so can't really do that but the option is there.

i think im gunna get a squad of nobs but would that be a waste of pts ? i dont see a place where i could stash them and i dont see any IG squads that would be useful at that amount of points....

Isn't the canonical choice a big mek with kustom force field?

Leman russ battletanks have lost their shine somewhat, try any of the other tanks. Take another aeroplane, one is just not reliable enough.

I feel the orks are there so you do not need the platoon in your list.
Platoon and orks would be an infantry list with aeroplanes. That is not your list.
Whereas you have mech with orks, the orks are just there to get in the enemies way.

I like platoons with some meltabombs and some kraks, also maybe a heavy flamer for the giggles.
You do not seem to have something to boost the platoon, do you not need a commissar for example?

I think you will be unimpressed with veterans outside of a chimera, also plasma with 6+ armour is risky.

For the ork allies:

Drop Warboss and take a Weirdboy +warphead (Hope for 'ere we go roll)
Max out Boyz at 30. No Nobs, the boyz are fearless until they get below 12. If you can find 30 pts, give each unit of boyz 3 big shootas. Give Boyz shootas.

The orks are there just to clog everything up and die.

New list.... with this i have 18 points left... any thoughts on upgrades? im also thinking of perhaps dropping marbo and getting something else with those 83 points i would have.

If it comes down to it (marbo is an excellent warlord suicide unit) I would drop marbo to boost your tanks.

Give bolt pistols to vet squads or 3 special weapons to the CSS, like grenade launchers, flamers, or snipers. That is really it.

I would love to put this army to the torch under a war of faith against my sisters

last time i post here just seeing if anyone else has an opinion

alright so at the beginning of the game ( if i dont get first turn) the orks act as bubblewrap for the chimeras but then the chimeras race up to engage stuff and take points, Marbo does what he does, Russes engage clumps, and orks make a bloody mess of everything they see, vendetta being annoying or possibly anti air, and CCS spamming GL

I'd drop the boys squads to 23 & 24 in size and give the CCS a Chimera & 4 melta guns instead of the GL's you would then have roughly 2 pts left over I think forgive me if I'm wrong I just added up quickly
