This list comes in just at 1840pts. Looking for insight, I have never played a bike army before and want to get it ready for a small tourney at the FLGS next month. All comments welcome.

Tactical squad is rather out of place, I would drop it as well as maybe the power swords on the bikes and throw in another deathwing squad. Also, switch the AC for a cyclone on the DW squad you already have.

Wherever they tell me

I'm a little out of date with the rules right now, but Ravenwing Land Speeders used to be able to score if they were picked as an addition to the Bike Squad. If they still can I'd definitely move them into those spots.

Unfortunately I can't give a whole lot of advice because I haven't played a ton of 6th edition games, but hopefully that at least helps a little.

Thanks for the quick advice, right now I'm stuck with WYSIWYG but later on ill look into getting a cyclone terminator to swap out. Same with taking the tactical squad out for more deathwing.

I think your right about the land speeders being scoring but i would have to double check. Right now I have them grouped so i can try them out as anti horde. I'll see how they played mixed in next.

The landspeeders are not scoring. Assault cannon landspeeders are way overcosted, you should drop them for mm/missile

You don't need to buy a cyclone terminator...I myself use either Chaos Havoc Launchers or the deathwind launcher from the drop pods. At the very least, drop the power first (It is an immobile squads, doesn't need a CC arm) and give the bike squads melta bombs.

Don't get me wrong, I love the assault cannon, but the cyclone *is* 10 points cheaper.

For now, that could all change in just a few short months.

True enough, but this list is made in the current codex and he wants advice on making it better. I can hardly see cyclones being fazed out, being that they are somewhat iconic of the DA army nowadays.

If an objective is placed high in a building, your bikes can't capture it. A savvy opponent could place objectives in places bikes simply cannot get to.

I love bikes myself, but you need troops that can climb ladders and whatnot.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the tac squad. Stick them in cover and they're fairly survivable. I would exchange the p-fist for a power weapon of some kind and the drop the plasma pistol. That's too many points to sink into a sergeant. I second replacing the assault cannon with typhoon missile launchers. Whether or not you switch out the HBs for MMs is your choice really, both have a place. With the points saved you could get yourself a sweet dakka pred. Adds a scoring option for Big Guns Never Tire and it will absolutely chew through GEQ armies.

Can you place objectives high up in buildings?
