Subject: A Question of Ecstatic Seizures and a Concern of Zombies re: Necrosius+Typhus

So, first question: on pg. 71 of the CSM Codex, under the Discipline of Slaanesh, Ecstatic Seizure, it says that "If a unit is hit... do not roll to wound as normal. Instead, every non-vehicle model in the target unit takes a hit at its own unmodified strength."
That part's pretty clear (i.e. no powerfisting yourself in the face), but I got to wondering - the description makes no mention of AP or special abilities. What if you cast it on a Monstrous creature - Carnifex, Dreadknight, etc? My gut says, rule as intended, it's supposed to function like a hammer of wrath attack - no AP or Rending/Poisoned bonuses, but I've had someone argue that my Wraithlord wouldn't get its armour save against an ES, since it is a monstrous creature.
Second question. Typhus unlocks Plague Zombies for a regular CSM army. Necrosius has the 'Master of the Dead' rule: "Whilst Necrosius is present on the battlefield, all Plague Zombie units (see IA book 7 etc....) gain the Furious Charge special rule." So right now we have two 'Plague Zombie' units; the FW ones and the C:CSM ones. The rule for Necrosius was written before there were C:CSM Plague Zombies. Would Necrosius' Master of the Dead affect these ones?
For myself, I wouldn't have any problem allowing a Typhus+Necrosius CSM zombie list - I'm just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue.
(It could even be a special scenario - just in time for Hallowe'en: make the zombies Without Number and have some unlucky Troops/Elites/HQ have to battle their way through the undead)

I would say the FW rules do not overlap with the new chaos and would summize that his Master of the Dead rule only applies to the plague zombies in the IA book.

Rick Priestley said it best:
Bryan always said that if the studio ever had to mix with the manufacturing and sales part of the business it would destroy the studio. And I have to say – he wasn’t wrong there! The modern studio isn’t a studio in the same way; it isn’t a collection of artists and creatives sharing ideas and driving each other on. It’s become the promotions department of a toy company – things move on!

I believe they get all armor saves but it could go either way. The point of this power is to deal with hordes. 30 orks hitting themselves? There goes half of them. It be too strong if you kept your AP cuz then it's too good of a power. So AP - according to RAI.

Nothing about taking a hit at their own unmodified strength indicates that those hits are melee attacks, or that the models are attacking themselves.
In fact, I would argue the hits they take are a shooting attack, given it is a witchfire power having the effect on them. Regardless of that however, there is no reason for them to inherit special weapon attributes, the fluff doesn't even describe it as them attack themselves.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).
