When I was 17 I read an article in issue 139 of White Dwarf "Painting the Blood Angels 3rd Company". That christmas, all my presents and money went towards fulfilling the collection put together in that article.
20 years later, I still haven't really started (although I have all the figures, paints and even the original glue pot from that time). Yet with the release of 6th edition I can;t see a better time to get stuck in.
My painting sucks, but hopefully with your help i'll get better, and finally get this Blood Angel monkey off my back.

Thats a cool story, I have recently got back into things after having a toe in as a teenager and then ignoring the hobby utterly for 12 years while I was in the military.
Its great to meet another salty old noob.
