Hello all!

A few things about me before I begin lurking these forums...

I've been playing 40K for about 4 1/2 years now, got into it during my senior year at college in the US when I was stuck in a room without internet, TV, or a phone. Borrowed Storm of Iron from a friend and it was love at first sight. Since then, I've been avidly collecting (and trying to keep up with my painting...) and reading anything I can get my hands on.

As far as the hobby goes, I've got a CSM army (my first) that has been gathering dust but, with the new codex, we'll see if it gets some more action in the future. I've also got a sizeable amount of Necrons and, being overseas right now, they're the primary thing on the table in the near future in terms of painting.

I am an avid reader and (one time) writer of FanFiction, primarily 40K. I've got several pieces written and, despite quite a long lapse of writers block, hope to get in some more in the future.
