Hi guys, whilst starting a CSM army a few years back, I loved them! I found the aesthetics and background not only cool, but also the way there were so many army lists I could use, and combine into one large army (even if technically not allowed). From renegades, mutants, zombies, daemons, marines and more, I really did build up a massive force of around 3,000 pts. However, that was the days were, even though I could paint a model nice, I never realised the importance of uniformity in models bases etc, and the force got a bit mixed up, it was here there and everywhere. With the sexy new daemon models, and the advent of the new Chaos rules/models, now was the time to start a new Chaos force, and make it a good one! I started with daemons, which is something I am not always a fan of, but the new kits floated my boat, especially the small 3-model kits (I hate the 'kids toy' £35-£45 pound kits GW are making just to make their younger customers go 'daddy I want it cos its big', kind of advantageous in a way). I then got a few CSM models I never got round to doing and put them into the firing line, such as the Rhino (more are planned though). With financial and physical maturity, I realised for the first time yet it wasn't a good idea to grab the next starter set that came out, so I never got Dark Vengeance. However, I do like the chosen, and especially the cultists which I brought all 20 off eBay separatley for a bargain £15 with 1st class postage cos i helped the seller with some info. I also decided to paint one model at a time (although not it all instances) as it turned out to be a much more fun way of painting, even if not as productive. Below are the figs so far:

Nurglings

Beast of Nurgle

Flamer of Tzeentch

Screamer of Tzeentch

Bloodletters of Khorne

Chaos Renegade Enforcer

Rhino (the old ones are cooler!)

Keep an eye peeled, as the cultists and flesh hounds are coming next...

So I got round to painting five of the cultists from Dark Vengeance I got off eBay, they came out good. i really like the grey and red scheme I went for. I plan on doing some Black Legion schemed ones too. I've also started on Chaos Flesh Hounds. Here is also a WIP of a conversion from an old rhino, into a autocannon predator with extra armour.
