Greetings everyone. I was wanting to make a decent starter army as a Nurgle Chaos list with a decent mix of Troop and Tank killers. Let me know what you all think. Thanks!

In a 1000 point game i wouldent take typhus because he takes up about a fourth of your points, use a chaos lord with a MoN , its a lot cheaper and then you put more marines in your list. I would split up the obliterators , maybe drop one of them and use 2 squads of 1 obliterator to crush tanks. I would try to get 3 troop choices in a 1000 point game, mabe try regular CSM with a mark of nurgle just to get more power armor bodies in there. and the terminators are good, but not for a 1000 point game, but try it out they may work for you!

Termies aren't specialized, drop them. Oblitorators... took a hit really. consider a mixed havoc squad.
drop 1 plague squad for nurgle marines and bolster to a 15 man if possible. and typhus is expensive at this level!
I'd go with something like
nurgle lord
plague marines, melta + plasma in rhino
15 nurgle/plain marines
havoc squad, las/miss/auto/H.bolter

Ok so if I would want to field Typhus, your all saying to put him in a minimum list of 1500 points?

If i was set on taking him it would have to be with a kitted out terminator unit. So it will have a massive impact on the army trying to fit him in.
