pbutcher +6 warjack points
-beast 09 - 11
-juggy - 7
-wardog - 1
ironfang pikemen (full squad) - 8
-ua (just basics) - 2
great bears - 5
mechaniks (full squad) - 3
widow makers (the unit) - 4

So the idea is to have the iron fangs straight and center with iron flesh a majority of the time, with the jacks mixed in and the bears behind. The widow makers to the side poking at the infantry or other seriously dangerous solos / light infantry.

These are all the guys i own at the moment. i'm looking originally about tactics and things i should keep in mind while using this army, but if anything in this army just does work at all with the overall goal, what should they be replaced with that involves the least amount of change (and ultimately, the least amount of $$$). any help, tactics, opinions, or criticisms is welcome.

The army is ok, it seems like a solid 25 pt army (remove the mechanics and juggy). For 35 you probably want to replace the jug/mechanics with almost anything else as you lack the focus to run the juggy since you have beast and the juggy wont do a single thing without focus and the mechanics(let alone a full squad) might be able to repair beast or the juggy, but its minor. If want 2 jacks for this list then if you simply made the mechanics min and replaced the juggy with Drago you would be completely fine with 2 jacks as drago is self-sustaining and can do his thing and min mechanics can heal drago/beast when needed.

Instead of jacks+mechanics, I would just do full kayazy + underboss (10pts) as they are completely able to do their own thing and are devasting charging with fury/feat/gang, 2 PW 15 weaponmaster attacks at like mat 9 + one is a charge attack, and they are defense 14/16 or you can make them def 17/19 with IF.

Those are my only suggestions as the rest seems great, i think IFP are really under-rated.

i agree with that the juggy + mechaniks need to go. I don't like to much the idea of the assassins, as they will be tar pits which is the same job as my ironfangs, i was instead thinking of:
pbutcher +6 warjack points
-beast 09 - 11
-wardog - 1
ironfang pikemen (full squad) - 8
-ua (just basics) - 2
great bears - 5
widow makers (the unit) - 4
kayazy eliminators (2) - 3
manhunter - 2
fenris or drakkun (w/ dismount) - 5: i cannot decide which.

Would this be a better list then where i am at now?

Least cost & most bang for the buck would be to drop the mechanics & jugs for the spriggan kit. That way, if you magnetize it you would effectively have 3 different types of the "clam jack" Devastator, Demolisher, & Spriggan. Also I would recommend buying Kayazy + UA for this list. All told @ miniaturemarket.com you could get all of that for seventy bucks. If you spend 100 bucks you get free shipping so throw in pIrusk, eSorcha, & Yuri and you get free shipping. Or just buy Gun Carriage & Kayazy + UA for 100 bucks for the free shipping. Meh.

Anyway the thing is like the other guys said. Normally you run one jack with Khador casters. I personally run 2 most of the time because I hate putting all my eggs in one basket. I would agree that we hurt on fucus, but Butcher has Full Throttle & feat to smooth out that problem. Try the Kayazy & Underboss first if you are on a very tight budget, because with fury on them (yes it says model or unit) they are amazing with butcher.

Your 2nd list is better then your first. You also shouldn't consider Kayazy or even IFP as simple tarpits, the great thing about khador is their infantry + warcaster buffs mean any of their infantry are amazing offensively. In most other factions infantry generally fit a role of tarpit or damage dealer much more obviously, but in Khador this simply is far from the case as all of their infantry do both rather easily, let alone with pButcher who makes them into offensive gods.

Spriggan is also a really good jack and is the only non-character jack I really consider ever running in Khador as khador jacks are simply terrible in general.
